Very often we do not fully know how the variables in network interacts, so we use #randomgraphs as substitutes for the real network. However, these random graphs - because they're substitutes for real networks - aren’t always useful and this poses a problem.

In sum, the goal of the lecture is to inform the RICH network of the concept of Planetary Health and stimulate the attendees to think of how their fields could benefit from and collaborate with it.

Given that our health is inextricably linked with that of our planet’s, our scientific, educational, and personal agendas should align with this notion if we are to become a healthier, more sustainable society.
