Hazardous "black rain" and "acidic rain" could pose serious health risks as toxic pollutants spread in the air, and contaminated the water—raise concerns of "wider regional pollution exposure", with the long-term effects of pollutants, affect respiratory health and contaminate water, that will affect people for years. Every bomb dropped on an oil depots is a time bomb for the people and the planet. This has moved beyond geopolitics. It's a crime against humanity.

We are not blind. We are not ignorant. We are honest. The difference between South Africa and many other African countries is not wealth. It is the willingness to confront failure. We own ours. You run from yours. That is not a lack of exposure. That is a lack of accountability. And until you fix that, no mineral, no resource, no tweet will save you. Go home. Fix your house. 🤔 MY TAKE... If opportunities in South Africa were still as attractive as they once were during Mandela and Mbeki, many foreign nationals probably wouldn't be choosing to leave now . Many have lived here for years, built businesses, raised families and invested their lives in this country. The reality is that South Africa's struggling economy has affected everyone, South Africans and foreign nationals alike. And these foreigners have seen the rot and are not interested... Some people seeking voluntary repatriation aren't necessarily leaving because they want to; they're leaving because they can no longer afford to stay or even afford the trip home without assistance. If South Africa manages to fix its economy, create jobs, reduce corruption and restore growth, don't be surprised if many of those leaving today decide to return tomorrow. People follow opportunity, wherever it exists.
