You are not what you look like but you are:
1. What you read
2. Who you spend time with
3. The food you eat
4. Where you spend your money
5. What you choose to talk about
6. What you do daily
7. What you tell yourself
Stop looking for:
1.Chaos when life is still
2.Validation from people who don’t see your worth
3.Happiness in the same place you lost it
4.Apologies from people who aren’t sorry
5.What you’re missing in someone else

You will never regret being kind if you are kind for the right reasons. Kindness should not be calculated or just returned when given. it’s not an action from the brain it’s an offering from the heart.
To you it’s nothing, to them it’s something.
You can’t control how a person perceives a situation, how long someone holds onto pain or what gets triggered. All you can do is speak with love, compassion and good intention the rest is out of your hands.
Everyday things that drain your energy:
1. Trying to be who others think you are
2. Taking things personally
3. Celebrating before you win
4. Scrolling through social media
5. Trying to prove yourself
6. Complaining and criticizing
4. Challenge the thought; Create mechanisms and questions to ask yourself when the thought appears again to stop the cycle
5. release; visualize the thought leaving your mind, digging out its roots carrying it with both hands and throwing it far into the distance
Solutions:.
1. Take time to observe and identify those thoughts
2. Notice the triggers for them; people, places, situations, emotions 3. Analyze and process them; speak it, write it out, cry it out
....
- It expands and take up more space - The more space it takes up the more serious it feels
- It becomes an underlying trigger, sometimes in conversations or situations that we wouldn’t expect
- it gains strength and power every time it’s repeated
My favorite kind of messages:
Let’s go for a walk
Let’s cook a meal together
Let’s hang out and cry together
Let’s sit in silence and do nothing
Let’s go for dessert
Let’s prank call someone
Let’s cancel tonight
If you’ve started the year at a slower pace than expected, don’t be disheartened or discouraged, starting slow is still a start. It’s not about speed or acceleration. You can choose depth over distance this year and that’s a beautiful thing.
No more trying to ‘fit in’.
Shrinking or over extending yourself to become something or someone you’re not.
Swap fitting in with settling in.
Settling into your own self and filling the space of your own mould. No one else’s.
I’m starting this new year with a serious thirst to learn more, read more, hear more and explore more. Hungry for new information, new perspectives and new wisdom. #foreverastudent
Goal: Getting to a place in life where I don’t want to be anyone else, don’t want to be better than anyone else, don’t dislike any part of me, I'm just content being me and growing to be the better me.
Don't block your blessings. Don't let thoughts of being unworthy, guilt or lack of self love prevent you from appreciating and accepting what comes your way. Learn to recieve what comes into your life with open arms and a grateful heart.
