Update on my dad: I said goodbye yesterday.
I was able to get my wife and kids to visit him for a few days over the weekend and then I stayed with him and my brothers. My oldest brother and I left yesterday with our youngest stay8ing behind for a few days.
As we thought, he was holding on while we were there and as of today he's faded quite a bit and can't really communicate already. I don't know how long he has left, but I'm thankful we were able to talk to each other for a few days.
