I see your point and will defer to your experience on this. On the surface, it seems that consent would be straightforward and logical. But at least the official statement could be helpful, e.g. the Code of Conduct. #NFB22

One more thought: the resolution said that @nfb_voice is the strongest supporter of "bodily autonomy for the blind." I agree. But bodily autonomy as I understand it is as important to blind people as it is to sighted people... right? #NFB22

Also, the resolution struck me as a bit jargony. "Consent language?" "Bodily autonomy?" I wonder how many in our community who don't work in this field know what those mean. #NFB22

@SirRiker2020 I agree that, especially in light of what I'm seeing here, there could have been justification to bring back the rules of engagement used at the virtual conventions & allow virtual voting. Question, though: At what point is it OK to bring voting rules back to what they were?
