Community Leaders West Yorkshire is an initiative of the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership. The aim is to help communities and public services tackle serious violence together.

@JoshFG We will be listening too. We don't normally engage in anything political but we are deeply concerned by statements being issued by food poverty charities about the impact of what the government is planning to do to disabled people and children.

Today in parliament I put on record some of my concerns about proposed changes to disability benefits. I understand and hear the fears and concerns of constituents about the impact of getting this wrong and will work to ensure vulnerable constituents get the support they deserve.

We've made a change to our news policy, previously we'd share things from charities and community organisations, now we will consider things from a wider range of organisations and the focus will be on the "community benefit" of the event, no matter what the source.
