@BabyGotCat1 @Dexerto So there are rules on recorded tapes. that are not official releases from artists. As long as you don't sell the recording, you are fine. You can trade it all day long or give it away to someone.

@Dexerto It's so funny that it's the internet archive. I asked the community that I belonged to about this. It had to be 10 15 years ago, that when we all go so to speak.Could we upload our tapes to the exact same site. Most of us master what we record.They said no. To much of a gray area

@Dexerto I listened to two of them and the recordings and the rips were not great. Like “congrats on recording this” but not at all worth listening to because the quality is terrible.

@Dexerto Never understood why acts don't allow recording at their shows outside of the jamband world. Grateful Dead, Phish, Allman Brothers and others made it part of their business model.

@gnarlier @Dexerto It can happen especially at the smaller venues, or you don't pay as much vs. a big pavilion. I used to go to the Tremont Music Hall like that for 2 years.
