My co-pg frowned down upon the idea of marrying a guy from a non clinical branch and said ‘why would a radiologist ever marry a pathologist?’I called her out for the same but she maintained that she has certain ‘standards’.Unable to wrap my head around this ideology! #MedTwitter

The woman that lost her husband to religious extremism says religion should not be associated with this incident? Baffled! #PahalgamTerroristAttack

I have a one-year-old niece. In the near future, I'll have children of my own. When they grow up, I want to be able to look them in the eye and say that I spoke when it mattered. "Terrorism has no religion" is not a valid argument when your fellow countrymen were slaughtered because they weren't Muslim. “Security failed” is a valid point. But the gate to my house being open doesn’t give someone the right to walk in and wreak havoc in the name of their faith. I hear many from the Muslim community saying: “We condemn this.” “We don’t support the attackers.” “Islam is a religion of peace.” But let me ask this - beyond condemnation, what else did you do? Did you ever question the root of this hatred? Did you ever confront that hardliner in your circle? Did you ever challenge the ones poisoning minds in your name? I'll be direct. The majority of Muslims do not support violence. They live like anyone else: with dreams, burdens, families to feed. But let’s not pretend there aren’t any fanatic black sheep at all. And silence, in the face of fanaticism, is complicity. If you've never: Pushed back against their narrative Worked to uplift women and children in your community Asked why these voices grow louder unchecked and especially if you remain silent every time blood is spilled in your religion’s name, then you need to evaluate your values. Yes, you raise your voice for Muslims across the globe. Understandable. Spirit of brotherhood and all that. But what good is global solidarity if you won’t fight for peace in your own country? What good is your voice for strangers, if you won’t speak for your constitutional siblings? No one is asking you to go hunt terrorists. But call a spade a spade atleast. Call a crime a crime, even if it is done in the name of your faith. Especially if it is done in it's name. And call out the ideology that breeds them. And before starting a whataboutery rant on other faiths, do your bit. Pull your own people away from the jaws of toxic fundamentalism. Children and teenagers, primarily. Stay neutral in times of moral crisis, and you know how the phrase goes about the darkest places in hell and who they are reserved for. I was born into a Muslim family. I carry a Muslim-sounding name. The extent of my beliefs is irrelevant here. The world sees me as Muslim. I am also a doctor. A doctor who relieves pain. And when my nation is in pain, I cannot stay silent. That's not how I was raised. I hope you think about this. Especially those among you who truly believe in peace, progress, and coexistence.

@PUBGMOBILE was one of my major stress busters during MBBS. After 7 years of playing, I played my last game tonight as I want no distractions during my PG. Spent a lot of time on the game with my squad and I shall always cherish those memories🥹♥️ Winner winner chicken dinner!🍗

Ravi Shastri - Imam Ul Haq got run out. Inzi also used to get run out. Does it run in their family? Sunil Gavaskar - No it doesn't run in their family, because the family can't run.

How do PGY3’s have the energy to go out of their way to be toxic to juniors for no reason? Seniority should be used to guide juniors to be better doctors not pass down the toxicity. #MedTwitter

My immediate senior got upset, pointed it out, and told me, ‘I’m NOt A fIrSt yEaR!’ because I said ‘Thank you’ instead of ‘Thank you, sir’. This happened despite me addressing him respectfully as ‘Sir’ in all our previous convos. Seenzoned him 💅 #MedTwitter
