Speaker #7 Omar Emad Rayan @Omaromarjbh Omar Emad Rayan, a 30-year-old father of two young children, Imad and Amal, and husband to Handel, lives with his extended family of 13, including his parents and six sisters, in severely challenging conditions in Gaza. Their original home and neighborhood were destroyed by Israeli military actions, forcing them to endure over 12 displacements and now reside among the ruins of bombed buildings in a fragile, inadequate shelter exposed to the elements. Omar, who previously worked as a sales representative to support his family, was severely injured during the genocide when he was struck by an explosive bullet in his hand while attempting to help others; treated in a basic field clinic, the wound became infected, and a subsequent operation to install a metal plate in his arm went wrong, resulting in permanent loss of mobility in that arm. As the family's sole provider, he is now unable to work or perform daily tasks effectively. The family has also taken in a 6-month-old orphaned child who lost both parents in the violence. They face ongoing starvation, lack of clean water, medication, basic necessities such as diapers and milk for the children, and proper shelter like a sturdy tent or tarps to protect against harsh weather. They depend entirely on donations and the support of compassionate individuals to meet these urgent survival needs. chuffed.org/project/161391…

Speaker #6 Chef Monera Edwan @Edwanmoni97453 Chef Monera Edwan, 45, is a divorced mother of six children who currently lives in a tent with four of them after their home and neighborhood were destroyed, forcing the family to be displaced more than six times and leaving them without any belongings or stable shelter. She has lived for years with nerve damage in her left hand from a past injury, yet she had built a livelihood through her bakery and her Hayat Kitchen project, which was their only source of income before it was lost in the genocide. Her children living with her are Muhammad, 22, who was studying nursing, Farah, 18, who was studying dentistry and had achieved strong results, Ahmad, 17, who is in high school, and Tariq, 13, who is still in school. With no income, the family now depends entirely on donations while facing severe malnutrition and a lack of basic necessities including food, clean water, clothing, and medication, and they continue to live in very difficult conditions in a worn tent while Monera hopes to secure enough support to meet daily needs and allow Farah to continue her university education. chuffed.org/project/170429…

Speaker #5 Sondos Abu Sbitan @SondosSbitan Sondos Abu Sbitan is a 19-year-old single woman living with her family of six in the ruins of a bombed-out home in Gaza, where tarps provide only minimal protection from the weather. The family has been displaced five times amid the ongoing genocide and has lost 25 relatives, with Sondos having to collect some of their remains after attacks. In a recent bombing in their area that killed over 150 people, Sondos and her sister were injured by burns and shrapnel. Her aspiration to become a physical therapist has been interrupted by the genocide. She lives with permanent facial nerve damage following a failed jaw surgery and depends on scarce painkillers, while also managing epilepsy with expensive and often unavailable medication. Her father has untreated high blood pressure, her brother Omar, 29, lost his farming livelihood when his land was destroyed, and her sister Intisar, 27, suffers from a painful back condition requiring surgery that the family cannot afford. With no income, they face severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and basic necessities, having gone from a stable home to a life marked by displacement, injury, and hardship. chuffed.org/project/sundos…

Speaker #3 Nada Albaba @nadaG6182 Nada Albaba is 32 years old and a mother of five children aged ten and younger; her youngest son, Mohammed, was born in August 2025. The family of seven was displaced from their home in Rafah and has been forced to move at least nine times since October 2023. They currently live in a worn tent that has been their only shelter for two years and now needs repairs. With no steady income except occasional donations and no nearby soup kitchens, they struggle daily for food and water. Mohammed needs milk, diapers, and regular medication for recurring respiratory issues, while Nada herself is suffering from iron deficiency and malnutrition. The older children have been out of school for a long time, and the family hopes to restart even basic education for them. Nada says that with $1,000–$1,500 they could start a small income-generating project to cover their most essential needs. Right now they are simply asking for help with housing, consistent food and drinking water, milk and diapers for the baby, medicine, and a chance for the children to continue learning. chuffed.org/project/157042…

Speaker #2 Youseef @shkhst88758 Youseef is an 18-year-old from Gaza living in a tent with seven family members after being displaced six or seven times during the genocide. The family pays $100 per month in rent despite having no source of income and now depends on donations to meet their basic needs. Before the siege, Youseef's mother worked as an engineer and his father had stable employment, but both lost their jobs after their home was destroyed. His younger siblings, Aoun and Kenzi, have also been affected by the loss of their home, school, and sense of stability. In addition, one of Youseef's younger brothers suffered severe burns and requires ongoing medication and ointments. The family's campaign is focused on covering essential living expenses, including tent rent, food, clean water, clothing, and medical treatment, while they hope for the chance to rebuild their lives. gofundme.com/f/ws9h4-famili…

Before the genocide, the family had a stable life, with a home and a car, but they lost everything after being displaced five to six times. They are now renting a small room on a rooftop and paying 700 shekels in rent while struggling to cover basic needs. Ilana, who was born five months before the siege, has grown up amid repeated displacement and ongoing hardship. She has asthma and requires regular inhalers. Sara's campaign is focused on securing her daughter's medication as well as food, water, and clothing for the family as they work to rebuild some stability in their daily lives. gofundme.com/f/sarah-aljubo…
