honestly cover going back to LA should be expected due to the success of other LA-based events. Not to mention how many seats at All For One in NYC were vacant, compare that to BD and CTW which were both completely full.

@realminik @kenbolido It’s this and from a European fan standpoint it’s just as expensive for me to head to the EN concert as it would be to go to fes. At least New York has the benefit of having a lot of cheap flights from most major European airports

@kenbolido a common complaint i've been seeing is that AX and the EN concert take place around the same time the world cup is going on, with the first day of AX happening the same day a world cup match is happening, which will likely mean large traffic, higher hotel prices, etc.

It is kinda funny to see HoloEN concert discourse being in LA when: 1. It's AX weekend, there's already a high concentration of weebs in the area 2. Yes, it's on July 4th... AX has always been on this weekend. Connect the World was like this too 3. Cover has a sort of operations base in LA 4. Did I mention it's AX weekend? Forget the weebs - under the surface, AX is a massive anime industry trade show - it would be massively beneficial for staff to show face and hold meetings in LA with JP and Western businesses who are attending 5. It's also LA, so if they're flying talent out, they might also be incentivized to have them meet potential brand clients or shoot/record content... which the area is already geared to do.
