Nope, it wasn’t debunked. Farage wants an insurance-based system. He originally suggested the French model until it was pointed out that it’s still mostly taxed. He’s talking about giving tax relief to private companies to reduce waiting times and offering people the option to pay for a fast-tracked service, jumping others unable to pay. But realistically, he’s said he wants an American-style system, as those are the people he’s in the pocket of,especially with James Orr and his close links to Trump and JD Vance. Both of them are keen to push an American style on us. All it would take is a nice £5million; we know that’s the Farage going rate! He’s said it hundreds of times: he sees private-sector healthcare as the solution to the NHS.

Savings on civil service waste, councils etc. mean reduced spending on public services etc. Well, public services are firefighting after 14 years of cuts.
