Last night five lucky boys travelled to @BrookesClimbOX for a form outing introducing them to indoor climbing, trusting in each other's skills to belay to keep them safe on the wall 🪢 💪 🧗‍♂️ They also tried out auto-belays and had a chill on the big bouldery mushroom 🍄

A productive Easter training trip for staff to Snowdonia: - 1st Trad leads - multipitch adventures at Tryfan Bach - rigging practice - recce of a climbing wall - 6 pitches led at "Severe" towards RCI assessments 🧗‍♂️ - an unexpected winter walk in the Snow ❄️ #ClimbingTeacher

This evening our most experienced indoor climbers were developing their understanding of lead climbing at @BrookesClimbOX with some work on clipping skills and lead belaying technique

A form outing for lower sixth last night @BrookesClimbOX saw five lucky boys having an introduction to indoor climbing, trusting in each other's skills to belay to keep them safe on the wall, and trying out an auto-belay and enjoying some bouldering challenges 🪢 💪 🧗‍♂️

Boys had a great afternoon outing to @Parthian_RDG yesterday, with some route climbing and an introduction to bouldering too. A great session: thanks!

Getting qualified Climbing Wall Development Instructor Assessment at @BouldersUK in Cardiff with @ManzokuClimb A great day, learnt a lot and had the chance to work with real clients to develop their climbing skills. Very excited to start teaching lead climbing at climbing walls
