I know this topic is heavy. Nobody wants to feel that kind of pain. But it's necessary. It's our duty as HUMANS to use our access and influence to help those in need. Regardless of your political standpoint or religious beliefs, there's no denying that. Just do one thing.

At first, I felt helpless when hearing about the atrocities in Gaza. It's heartbreaking and overwhelming, and all too easy for me to pull the wool over my eyes and act like I have no power. That's unacceptable. I can help, and so can you.

On Wednesday, I'll travel to Israel to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas's brutal terrorist attack. I'll then travel to Jordan to address dire humanitarian needs, meet with leaders, and make clear that Hamas does not stand for Palestinians' right to self-determination.
