@Myrnz I'd say it's equally or similarly both. Not 50/50 but more like 100/100 🤯
English

@Myrnz There was a video for this song! I remember now! Wow!

And in English :-)

"The authorities usually reject the show when I tell them it has no script. I invite them to attend the performance, perhaps hoping they'd intervene and prompt a reconsideration of censorship laws in Lebanon. But they of course never attend"– Raffi Feghali bit.ly/3pOCITP

@sarine_m There's a big range between $5 and $39, no? Those same expats have had Caviar in other "developing countries", believe it or not. And they know that $39 is a rip-off anywhere in the world.
English

@sarine_m Sure. I agree that they shouldn't. And I hope they realize that sooner than later so that Lebanon finds another source for a bandaid. Or an actual solution for its multiple crises.
English

@sarine_m Whether it's fine dining or other. I just meant I should get what I pay for and I'm not. So in a way, what expats were paying before ("$100 to buy a whole restaurant", which is an acceptable exaggeration but still an exaggeration) was the fair price for what Lebanon has to offer
English

@RaffiFeghali Clearly that wasn’t the point of my tweet. I meant certain category of people, that’s why i used the word fine dining.
English

@sarine_m Scientific calculations don't disagree. For what I pay for electricity alone in a month in Lebanon, one can buy a roundtrip ticket to Turkey from Amsterdam, for example.
