@DefaultDNB - The name of the hack is "9 Underground" rather than "Underground 9" - It's my second hack of World Tour, but my fifth ROM hack overall - The only "replacement" was Dr. Death over Koji Kitao; it appears that the list of replacements you got was from La Fin Du Tour, my WT hack

@DefaultDNB Thanks for promoting this! Additionally, thanks for testing it out on your emulator. So far I can confirm it works on PJ64 2.3, 3.0, MupenPlus, and RetroArch. However, you might want to correct the following for the sake of accuracy (see followup):

Thanks to: @Melonbread1979 and @AKIClub64 for teaching me the basic ASM hacking critical for this hack, @aj_187 for granting me the tools to do what I do, @RetroRandyPrice for finding the voice table, and @jcsix for dumping select textures. Shoutout to @Seanomaniac as well.

Please note again that because of where I wrote the new data, this is maybe the only ROM hack that doesn't run on console. It will run on emulator. If you're the kind of person who buys carts from certain sources, please do NOT do so. You will be throwing money away.

Additionally, before anyone asks, this can't be fixed with an expansion pak, as I never used any part of the ROM that would require its use. That aside, all the things I wanted in 9 Underground are properly integrated, and I'm just wrapping up final details on how to release it.

Minor but unfortunate update. By writing data in places I probably wasn't meant to, 9 Underground is not playable on console. It is still a ROM hack, and is playable on emulators (tested on PJ64 2.3, 3.0, Mupen, RetroArch), and so I will still release it relatively soon.

With help from @RetroRandyPrice and @AKIClub64, Mil's voice issue is now resolved. Most of the 9 additions now have voice data consistent with what they had in VPW64, with some concessions for Chono, Muta, and Liger. 9 Underground is now going through a final round of testing.

@wcwrenegade67 The number could be higher if we could write other parts of the ROM with blank space to RAM. With that, the logical roster limit is 80, where vanilla WT has 43(?) wrestlers. If stables could be expanded, it could be even more. An expansion pak would be required, from what I hear.

@RagDas01 Love the work,is there any idea how many extra wrestler slots could be available?for the future.Maybe add some early ecw wooo! And the nasty boys/Harlem heat nostalgia.

@APHughes Precisely the opposite, I'm afraid. It really is still "World Tour" at the end of the day.

Please remember that my idea of "accurate" may not be the same as yours. You may have an ideal vision of movesets, costumes, etc. 9 Underground is my vision for what could have come out in 1997. My wish is to show you things you didn't know were hidden under the surface.
