👉🏼 LOKESH KANAGARAJ & KAMALHAASAN: An example of religious harmony

👉🏼 While it is a well-known fact that @Dir_Lokesh is an ardent fan boy of @ikamalhaasan , #LokeshKanagaraj is also a religious and spiritual individual as one can see from the number of temple visits he does through the year as a team. This is in direct contrast with #KamalHassan who has time and again established himself as an atheist .
👉🏼 While many Kamal movies have atheist dialogues that are sometimes sarcastic too (Dasavatharam, Anbe Sivam), Lokesh has this one dialogue in #Kaithi as said by #Dilli (Karthi) that is so sharp and hard-hitting. It simply means more often man goes in search of hope and and for many people around the globe that hope is God. While one may not need God when the going is good, it is the desperate times that make a man seek that ray of hope in one form or the other.
👉🏼 Kamatchi, a youngster and the owner of a restaurant is yet to see life and is easy going. So he really doesn’t need God. Whereas Dilli has gone through enough turbulence in life and has been hoping to see his daughter one day. That hope comes through his religious belief. Lokesh has beautifully captured this simple yet hard-hitting life fact in those 5 seconds.
👉🏼 Also goes to show that you can co-exist in religious harmony with your role models, teachers, friends, neighbours etc even though their religious ideologies are different. Lokesh Kanagaraj and Kamal Hassan are a perfect example of this.
