Rapido Scam at BLR Airport? Here’s What Happened at 1AM Okay so story time. Last week I was in Bangalore for YC SUS and the Codex Hackathon, and I booked a Rapido cab from BLR Airport to my hotel for ₹723. Midway through the ride, the driver suddenly said I need to pay ₹410 extra for parking and tolls. I refused, but he started getting aggressive, so at around 1 AM, I called my hackathon teammate and asked if this was even fair. He talked to the driver, but the driver kept saying “serr serr it is fair sir I don’t lie serr” and just wouldn’t listen. And also he stopped the cab in the middle of the route. I was afraid at that time, tbh, cause the location where he stopped the cab was also shady. Then I asked him to show me the message where he got the parking charge from. Obviously he had nothing, then told me to wait and literally generated one on the spot. I saw the payment time was just a second ago and lmao I took his phone, clicked pictures of the number the message came from, and said yeah let’s go I’ll pay. On top of that, Rapido’s support is just terrible. There is no proper call option in the app. After coming back to Delhi, I used their chat support and had to explain the same issue four different times to four different agents. Three times the chat was just closed with “this is between you and the driver(they literally dropped the cab driver number to resolve the issue by my own), resolve it yourself.” On the fourth attempt, only after I mentioned legal action and posting on social media, they finally processed the refund. That honestly shows how pathetic and unreliable their support system is. This post is only meant to warn people who are planning to take a Rapido ride from BLR Airport, so please be aware of this kind of scam. @rapidobikeapp @RapidoCares

Bangalore cab drivers are the biggest scammers on earth: @rapidobikeapp price: Rs. 684 (Whitefield to airport) End trip price: Rs. 1084 I asked driver how is this possible? He says oh parking, toll etc. I said but parking is not on me - still with parking how is it so high? And why in my app ride did not stop? Price is displayed only when ride stop He legit said: I stopped the ride it is your network issue pls check and pay I took his phone and turns out he had a fake app called ‘Towner’ which lets him display any price and app looks exactly like Rapido Then he starts abusing me in Kannad and asks me to pay the amount he quoted I took my bag and ran I paid the amount showed on my Rapido app Rapido has the biggest scam drivers be safe pls and pay only the amount displayed your app

If you think AI hackathons are just demos and PPTs, you’re missing what’s actually happening...💯 I saw it again with the @OpenAI Codex community hackathons ❤️ 700+ registrations in Delhi. 110 builders showed up in Hyderabad. 70+ projects shipped in a single day. And people weren’t just coming from nearby. We had participants travelling from Jaipur, UP, Goa, and other places to build. People are not looking for another AI meetup where everyone claps, takes photos, and goes home. They want rooms where they can actually ship. Some of the things built in hours were wild. - One project was similar to OpenClaw, but controlled with voice commands. - Someone built a macOS app where you can ask for help the way you use Spotlight Search, except it actually understands what you need. - One team built a tool which auto-runs an AI Maker -> Red Team -> Eval -> Repair loop on repo files and commit-triggered changes. The energy is already here, The talent is already here. What’s missing in most cities is not builders, It’s infrastructure for builders. Really grateful to @gabrielchua , @reach_vb and the @OpenAIDevs team for backing this. And huge thanks to Masters' Union for being our community partner this time for helping make the event work smoothly and also giving the to India's first Institute led AI Summit. 🔥 Couldn't be possible without the fellow ambassadors @HowDevelop and Param 💪🏻 Which city should host the next one? #hackathon #openai #projects #career

Not all hackathons are about building fast. Some are about building what matters. At Codex Hackathon I met sharp builders and learned a lot. Built ScamBait AI. Engages scammers instead of blocking, extracts UPI IDs, bank details and numbers. Voice scams dominate. #codexDel #AI

Applied to Codex Delhi this year but haven’t seen an acceptance email yet. If anyone is familiar with the process or has a way to help me get there (for example, an extra pass or a team looking for one more member), I’d really appreciate it !

@Maaztwts built OSAP to stop the constant tab-switching between Slack, GitHub, and Notion. It uses GLM-5.1 as a reasoning layer to handle multi-step tasks across different apps, with persistent memory (HydraDB) to keep track of your specific workflow habits. osap.maazx.dev

Built OSAP in 7 days at the @Zai_org x AI Valley @cara_catowner #buildwithGLM hackathon. ▨ A programmable AI agent OS that: • Remembers everything across sessions • Plans, executes, and self-corrects autonomously • Learns from every interaction you make. Powered by GLM 5.1 + Persistent Memory. This is what I built. Join the waitlist via the link in the comments - early users will receive free credits.

Inactive for 3 months… but it changed everything. Took time to figure life + what it actually takes to win Ended up securing 2nd place in a hack Now: • Learning OOPs in Python • Building MotherShield — AI for maternal risk assessment Still learning. Still building.

Here you go ! Built an X desktop widget with Electron & React. Glass UI and auto-cycling looked cool. Didn't go exactly as planned though: → hit API credit limits → native OS behaviors don't play nice ;) Still a solid learning experience. Shipping imperfect > shipping never

Cooked Basically rent website empty slots for ads that to onchain and with just 2 clicks! >> Converts ad slots into on-chain assets with transparent, rule-based allocation >> Enables real-time competitive bidding where pricing reflects actual demand >> Automates rotation and delivery using verifiable smart contract logic >> Removes intermediaries, making the entire flow trustless and auditable cc: @geeky_kartikey @piyushJha__ @itsNikku876 @monad_xyz @MonadIndia @monad_dev @Monad_APAC #monadblitz #monadblitzdelhi #monadblitzdelhi3

Cooking something on Monad Exploring a new primitive around attention, pricing, and on-chain execution Feels obvious in hindsight, but no one’s doing it right yet Create → compete → something happens instantly building solo this time!
