Understandably, folks focus on how much Peltola over performs a generic Democrat (and she does). But the Alaska Democratic Party is probably one of the best organized parties in a red state. If they flip the governorship and Senate seat, it will be because the party earned it.

I see a lot of people on here crowing about Hong winning the primary by a massive margin, totally dominating. Which, yes, she clearly is on track to win. But be careful! This means *nothing* for the general. Just ask Governors Doug Mastriano and Kari Lake.
