Let me tell you a story. 🧵 Portuguese wrestling was very different. We didn't get along. You either wore green, red or orange and you didn't cross over. Gang Gang. And for the longest time there was ONE tag team, Michael and Stefan Stu. That was it. 1/?

@RagingBradstone Well, I still had those shorts... Just like in 2019, I made them DIY. Sewed my own logo on the shorts to match hers and we got to do it one more time. A team that used to wear green against one that used to wear orange, on the red ring, for the tag team championships. 7/?

@RagingBradstone A few weeks ago, I was told Wrestling Portugal wanted to book Stus against me and my current partner Ricky Boy for the tag titles. It was cool, tribalism really was dead, it would've been impossible just 5 years ago. But then Ricky was unavailable. 6/?

@RagingBradstone When wrestling returned, we mostly went our separate ways. We've been mostly opponents, teamed with opponents. But I kept those shorts... Just in case. In the meantime, me and friends opened @PTWrestlefest and I got to fulfill my dream of having tag team championships in 🇵🇹 5/?

@RagingBradstone A few months later, Cláudia switched to the black gear she arguably is more famous for, now. In 2020, when the world shut down, I was bored decided to buy a pair of black fake leather shorts cause hopefully, one day we'll team again and I'll match her again. 4/?

@RagingBradstone She was already wearing those plaid shorts at the time and so I decided I would get some to match. We DIY made them, it wasn't easy to get gear back them, there was no seamstress that did wrestling gear in Portugal, yet. But we were a team and we matched. 3/?

After years of trying to convince the promoter I was working for at the time, he finally agreed (begrudgingly) to put myself and @RagingBradstone as a team. And after a small brainstorm inside a Burger King, "FAWK" was born. 2/?

Meanwhile, in Lisbon, Portugal - at the exact same time - Nelson Pereira becomes a two time Undisputed King of Crazy Champion - defeating Claudia Bradstone in a violent match. Let it be known that on Saturday, June 7th, we were international as fuck. Nelson will return to Canada on August 29, defending his title at NOW on that night, and at ISDub's Run With Us on August 30th. Be there!
