Damn, I thought widow burning came from some pundit' Bhasya of the Garuda Purana. Didn’t know it appears in the Puranas themselves.
Since purana say it is sanctioned in the Vedas, it must have been in the originals too, especially if Visnu Purana says 79% of Vedic verses is lost.

"They drink cow urine." 🤣 "They also drink cow's milk." 🍁 Interestingly, they boil milk to kill bacteria but drink urine neat, calling it pure. Wow!🤣 Cow urine is injurious to health, but teaching andhbhakts is like playing the harp in front of a buffalo. Sheer hypocrisy.
