I've read some stuff about Poona Horse and its history (started off as Hodson's Horse during the 1857 independence fight). I've seen several photos of Hanut Singh, often shared here by veterans who served during the 1965 and 1971 wars. Everyone speaks so highly of him and there are quite a few stories of his bravery. Going by the looks, I will say that Rahul Dev's make-up was perfect. He looked like Lt General Hanut Singh, especially those fierce and piercing eyes. I am not aware about his mannerisms, but I am sure his presence was enough to inspire his regiment! Yeah! Movies these days are all about the lead actors, but how often have seen the unnamed stars who deliver the best in the movie? I think Aditya Dhar got the casting spot-on with Agastya Nanda, Dhamendra ji, @JaideepAhlawat and all others, including Rahul Dev, of course.
