I appreciate Stacy. I don't even know if she's talking about me. But you guys should hear what she's saying. Christians shaming me for the version of the Bible I bought, for how I live my life at the moment and for even talking about it on the internet makes me never want to mention it on here again. I appreciated the authentic coversation we were having, but the DM's and comments are ruthless. Not from people saying "stay away from Christians," but from Christians. The worst is the way they fight with each other and how mean they can be over perspectives when no one knows for sure that they are exactly right on interpretations of the Bible. It's like Christians want to repel people like me from even dipping our toes in. Don't DM me your shamings. And seriously, all told - the only group that I haven't gotten a cruel comment or DM from is the Mormons. I'm not saying they're right about anything, but at least they are kind.

@AshFarms Keep doing your thing. I was raised Mormon. Have decided to restart my walk with Jesus after the murder of Charlie. I have been to so many different churches throughout my life, but the LDS church always calls me home. The brothers and sisters are so nice, it feels like home.
