We're all hoping that this welcome initiative will encourage more people to use the train. It's only a trial, so if you want cheap fares all day long indefinitely then new rail travellers are needed.

👷 People of East Kilbride! Come along to our event on the 11 Oct to learn more about our plans to move Hairmyres station 600m west (off Redwood Ave). The move will also allow us to extend the existing double-track by 1.4km and build a second platform.

NEW: A car has encroached onto the railway at Stirling. We're working closely with the emergency services. We're able to divert trains around this obstruction by using Platforms 6 & 9 at the station. Use P6 if you're heading for Perth/Aberdeen and P9 for Glasgow/Edinburgh. ^CT
