A brilliant day at the GCR. All the locos were amazing. I'm a little biased, although I'll give the day to 27056. Great to see (and smell) the new paint on 33116. A memorable evening run.

Ahh, a typical 1980's Dawlish scene. Happy holidaymakers waving to a Class 50-hauled train with a head sticking out of every droplight. Except that isn't a head protruding from the leading one!😀 No record of the working, but it's 50034 and the date was 23/5/81. #FiftiesOnFriday

Newly named 60063 'Robert Leech' stands in the freshly laid sidings at Longport on 12/05/26 having arrived from Toton. This was its public unveiling in original BR triple grey colours, with the logo of new owner ESH Rail Services on the bodyside. All photos taken with permission.

60095 & 66789 went forward as 0E17 to Doncaster Down Decoy whilst 41001 remained at Etches Park to take advantage of the facilities to identify a technical fault with the Paxman Valenta engine.
