Remarkable how Diane Dimond is still presented as some kind of neutral voice on Michael Jackson when so much of her public career became deeply tied to pursuing and damaging his image for over three decades. And guess where she’s showing up again now? This woman didn’t simply “cover” the Michael Jackson story she built a reputation and media identity around it. From the 1993 allegations to the 2005 trial, and even many years after Michael’s death, Diane Dimond consistently positioned herself as one of the most determined media figures keeping those accusations alive in the public imagination. Dimond rose to national prominence through Hard Copy, a sensationalist tabloid TV show typical of the 1990s media culture. Time and time again, she pushed allegations, rumors, supposed leaks, and speculative narratives about Michael Jackson often with a dramatic tone of certainty long before any legal conclusions were reached. Michael even sued over some of this reporting and won. One of the most controversial episodes involved Victor Gutierrez, a Chilean tabloid journalist who became obsessed with publishing explosive stories about Michael Jackson during the 1990s. Gutierrez claimed to possess secret information about Michael and circulated the story of an alleged child abuse tape. That narrative was amplified heavily by sensationalist media outlets at the time, including reporting associated with Diane Dimond. There was only one problem: the tape never appeared. No concrete evidence was ever produced. The story completely collapsed. In 1995, Michael Jackson sued Victor Gutierrez, Diane Dimond, Hard Copy, and others involved in spreading those sensational claims and headlines. While the cases involving media outlets were dismissed under U.S. press protections, Victor Gutierrez ultimately lost badly. In 1998, Michael won the case against him and was awarded damages for defamation after the allegations were deemed false. Yet by then, the sensational narrative had already been spread publicly and Diane Dimond had helped push it into mainstream consciousness. That same pattern of unethical and sensationalized coverage followed her work for years afterward. Then came the 2005 criminal trial — the one many people seem determined to pretend never happened. A real courtroom. A real jury. Months of testimony, investigations, aggressive prosecution, cross-examinations, forensic analysis, and worldwide media scrutiny. And after all of it, Michael Jackson was acquitted on all 14 charges. But for certain media personalities, “not guilty on all counts” was never enough. Diane Dimond spent years insisting that “the truth would come out in court.” When the court finally delivered its verdict, the outcome simply didn’t seem to fit the narrative she had spent years promoting. So the public trial never truly ended. Instead, it became an endless cycle of documentaries, TV specials, interviews, and recycled controversies designed to keep Michael Jackson permanently on trial in the court of public opinion. At some point, this stops looking like journalism and starts looking like obsession. Especially when the same people who constantly say “believe victims” rarely show the same interest in discussing inconsistencies, contradictions, changing stories, financial motives, discredited testimony, or the very simple fact that the only criminal trial Michael Jackson ever faced ended in full acquittal. And yet, decades later, Diane Dimond continues appearing in productions about Michael Jackson including this new Netflix documentary as though she represents neutrality or impartial analysis, when in reality she has carried a very public and deeply entrenched position against him for years.

I don't think there will ever be a character analysis as detailed as this one not just in anime community, but any other one. You might think that it's just a whole bunch of words but the way he connects all the points he's made during this video and then it all becomes Ichigo..
