The latest @RaineyCenter polling shows 79% in support of the App Store Accountability Act, which requires the App Store - not individual apps - to verify age. This support is BIPARTISAN! A COMPREHENSIVE App Store Policy is needed!

3/ The ask is simple: make large app stores responsible for verifying user age, linking minors to a verified parent or guardian, and requiring parental consent before minors can download apps. Parents in control. Kids protected. Congress: pass S. 1586.

2/ But state-by-state patchwork creates legal uncertainty. Texas's law was enjoined by a federal court. A content-neutral federal standard grounded in parental consent and contract law, not content restriction, is exactly what S. 1586 provides.

The App Store Accountability Act (S. 1586) has the public, the states, and common sense on its side. Here's why Rainey Freedom is calling on Congress to pass it now:
