I’m extremely invested in knowing how the trio’s involvement will affect the sociopolitical climate of omnics and their culture down the line I feel like people want them to join OW because OW = good guys, but I feel like direct activism is more valuable to a community

But also building housing with omnics specifically in mind is so fascinating that they’re helping to facilitate a movement to preserve omnic culture It’s amazing how this could be a huge turning point in how the future for omnics if the project extends outside of the Arcology

I like Sym, LW, and Zen’z subplot and hope they never join Overwatch. It’s inspiring that their heroism isn’t rooted in fights but rather their activism, something that people can do irl to help to change their community directly in meaningful ways other than war and conflict

I knew Zenyatta had a perk called Satya's Solution when he first came to stadium, but I just looked at the icon for the first time It's so cute that the name, ability, and picture are all in reference to Symmetra repairing Aurora's statue😭 Their friendship is so precious

@alocowberry Older fans had limited ship dynamics, got the hype of the first additions of new heroes, and Sombra's reveal was one of the biggest occasions in Overwatch's history. Newer fans just know she exists among a pretty large roster but it's sad such a huge ship faded with time :(

@alocowberry It's one of those cases where many popular OW1 ships had build up by original fans but are now rarepairs by OW2's completely diff fanbase who didnt get to experience the Overwatch Boom of content to sway them Plus modern fandoms have less community around art + fics

@brigluvrrrr I hate that ppl equate autism/ace with being unfeeling and distant from humanity, esp when it's canon to Sym's lore that she was overwhelmed by her emotions at times, was forced to learn to restrain them by masking, and is severely impacted by dynamics she has with other people

@hyderabadiyuri I adopted Symmetra Overwatch as my fave as the inverse of this. She’s one of the few characters where her cultural background is very prevalent in her lore + many of her skins I always enjoyed that she had dark skin and a more pronounced nose. Plus she’s canonically autistic! 🩵
