I think we are at a point in the precious metals industry where analysts who have a long history of attempting to stay as objective as possible, are now fed up with the marketing and sensationalism, that is cloaked as analysis and truth. In the short term, the truth unfortunately does not get nearly as much attention and is much less profitable.

Comex Silver update Great question. We have been in a positive contango (positive forward curve), in the silver futures market. This allows banks and other institutions to put metal on the exchange and sell futures against it. Thus pocketing a premium. While many were calling for a default, delivery squeeze, or end of the Comex, the market was actually normalizing. Sorry if this is not sensationalistic but this is the REAL STORY!

Many in the precious metals community were calling for a "collapse" in the Comex or "draining" of the Comex. They have been citing massive deliveries each month and some claiming the banks were near default going into delivery months. Well over the last 2 months, inventories have been increasing by about 13 million ounces. The Registered Category now stands at over 93.5 million ounces.
