It's a sad reality that most Seed of Hope students have already faced unimaginable challenges and trauma in their lives. So, we provide free one to one counselling, as well as group sessions that aim to break down the stigma around experiencing mental health difficulties.

TVET (Technical, Vocational Education and Training) promotes self reliance, self-esteem & aligns with the socio-economic aims of the Kenyan government. Learning a trade helps young people break generational cycles of poverty & build secure income for themselves & their families.

Every Seed of Hope student makes a decision when they choose to enrol in one of our vocational or business skills courses. They decide they believe in themselves enough to learn a trade that they can use to create a self-reliant future on their terms. buff.ly/3qtkOWA

We are so delighted to share that last week 5 girls chose to enrol in the Electrical Wiring & Installation (EW&I) course at our Seed of Hope centre in Kariti! We're sure you'll join us in wishing the girls all the very best of luck as they embark on their electrical studies!

Designed to ensure students develop the emotional intelligence, soft skills, and confidence needed to succeed in employment and self employment, all new Seed of Hope students join the Amuka course at the start of enrolment. We believe in bridging the learning to earning gap!
