@actionjack69 A trade down in the late rounds is only a small bid against yourself moment at worst and at best, a minor cost to secure your guy. Still a chance his new contract would’ve been above vet min even with offset

AVT wanted a fresh start is what it is no ill will but the Jets not pivoting to John Simpson I find head scratching, keep the OL completely in place 3 for 30m is not a bad deal and the guarantees run out before you have to pay Olu or Membou

@actionjack69 I’m willing to say he’s probably more cooked than he’s ever been but still, it’s something worth noting instead of giving Tanner a full pass. Maybe less on TE as a play caller and more of a slight on his ability (and the rest of the staff) to keep Fields on schedule
