@TaraBull Instead of these municipalities listening to We the People, I wonder how long it will take for them house the whole setup behind a tamper proof cage.
Flying out of John Wayne Airport never gets old. That full throttle blast down the runway, then suddenly like someone remembered the neighbors, the engines hush and the nose tips up. First timers grip the armrests, eyes wide, wondering if we're still climbing or just gliding on a prayer.
After 35 years in Orange County, I still chuckle every time. Some things you just don't forget. ✌️
I canceled my cable recently. It took TWO HOURS on the phone. That’s another story for another day.
But I still have to drop off the equipment. So now I am at the Xfinity store. I’ve been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting in line. There’s are two people in line ahead of me.
I have to wait in the queue behind people who are here to buy a new phones, transfer service, troubleshoot their devices. That process can take hours.
There is no process for people who are here simply to pick up or drop off equipment.
This is DMV level incompetence.
WHYYYYYY???
@2061Halleys@ClownWorld Seen what? Groups of organized people openly stripping these vehicles down? If so, just reinforces California is truly a failed state. What a shithole. I shouldn't be surprised.
@Rakk615@ClownWorld Sadly, no, I have traveled thru that immediate area & seen it. Persons are like from MadMax movies. Traveling thru LGB (Long Beach Airport) persons were lighting fires up to the curb of the roads & interstates. A Rolls Royce to your left & a dirty drunk drug addict to the right.
Several stripped vehicles were filmed near the Hollywood Burbank Airport, with some reduced to little more than the frame. Engines, doors, interiors, and just about everything else had been removed.
California leaders can keep saying crime is under control, but videos like this are why so many people don’t buy it. When you have to worry about coming back to a stripped-out car, something clearly isn’t working.
This girl is cruising down the highway in her stick shift, windows down, wind in her hair, belting out songs while she shifts gears without missing a beat. She looks genuinely happy and in control.
Most people these days never learn how to drive manual. It takes real timing and coordination to get the clutch and gas right, especially when you’re just trying to have fun and sing along. Seeing her do it so naturally makes you realize how much of that skill is disappearing.
Do you think driving stick is becoming a lost art, or do you still think it’s worth teaching people even if almost every new car is automatic?
@ClownWorld Crazy they even stole the wiring. Makes me wonder are they buying the frames from scrappers after insurance totals the vehicles and then putting them back together? It’s missing not cut like they were saving time.
This homeowner noticed that one neighbor planted a row of trees directly along their shared property line. Then the neighbor on the other side did the exact same thing. What makes it strange is the trees only run along her property, not the neighboring lots.
Now she’s wondering if she’s overthinking it or if both neighbors are sending a message without actually saying anything.
Do you think she’s reading too much into it, or does this look intentional?
@USAtoStay@WeaponsVault No it wouldn't have. Dude clearly ran up on him in a threatening posture, then reached like he was going to draw. All recorded.
@WeaponsVault Pepper spray would have been a more appropriate response. If he had fired it would have been a bad shoot and have legal implications. Im planning to add non lethal to my EDC.
First off, you don’t ever let someone that close up to you when theyre “rolling up” aggressively.
I would have shot immediately as he reached, enough video evidence.
It’s not their first try, they haven’t reused a booster yet, there are no published prices for commercial LM-10B yet, export controls make it basically impossible for a US company to fly payload on one anyway, and Starship is coming online soon - but, yeah, aside from that… 🙄
Thank you @SecWar for standing up for our servicemembers.
Our freedom will ALWAYS be celebrated here in South Carolina and so will the heroes who made it happen.
Plain view means plain view. If your violation is visible from the street, invoking the 4th Amendment doesn't turn a neighbor's glance into an illegal search.
What people actually seem to be arguing is: "I should be allowed to violate codes as long as nobody notices." That's not a privacy right. That's asking for enforcement-by-luck.
If you don't like that visible violations get reported, the fix is lobbying to change the code, not pretending the Constitution protects you from being seen.
@Mrgunsngear I would never trust these assholes anyway now that AI is running amok. 10 years ago I might have been onboard. 20 years ago, this would have been mind blowing.
The wildest thing about the UFO files the government released today is that no one cares.
Our world is so insane that an official government released "UFO files" doesn't even move the needle anymore.
The files can be found at war dot gov slash UFO for those interested 👽🛸
This video was reportedly recorded in 2020 and was released with the description:
'An accompanying Range Fouler Debrief, DOW-UAP-D091, describes the phenomenon as “darker, maroonish color, approximately 12-15 feet in height.” The report describes the phenomenon “travel[ing] with the wind” and noted that it did not “maneuver or change direction.” It also describes the phenomenon as appearing similar to a “large, somewhat deformed balloon.”'
