@RalphCooper @CrossCountryUK You can give Trainline a call on 03332022222 and they will be happy to process this, it might be if the ticket was scanned at any point. Please be aware you can't apply for a refund if you have already received Delay Repay compensation if you submitted a form on that occasion ^AW

@EastMidRailway @CrossCountryUK And I’ll have the same problem this week, as I need to travel on the next available train to Derby before bailing for a taxi (though I am also trying to find someone to pick up my children as a taxi is far more expensive than a refund will cover)
