He didn't choose to be assaulted. He didn't say "This is where my gunfight will be." The man who attacked him chose to do it there. The man who attacked him chose to have zero impulse control and commit an act of violence. He held all of the cards. I'm seeing a lot of people saying the assault was justified as "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences." Does that mean you should be free from consequences when you attack someone? You don't get to just physically attack people because you don't like their views in a civilized society. A guilty verdict means that it's perfectly acceptable to attack people if they offend you and that's disgusting.

For those in the Conservative space... Personally, I don't mind the criticisms towards the President or his administration. Constructive criticism is healthy from time to time. But when you start making criticism as your sole purpose in life, that's when I feel compelled to engage. President Trump has set the vision and we all know that the goal is to Make America Great Again! Even President Xi recently acknowledged that as well. The road to get to that vision won't be smooth. There will be wins and losses. We take the losses on the chin and celebrate the wins. Policies were explained during the campaign period. Conditions change, adjustments have been made and will continue to be made. This is just part of what the real world is like and we should all be aware of this. Of course we had to build up momentum and win the election but it doesn't mean President Trump has strayed from his vision. But be very careful not to go overboard because you either end up not thinking for yourself as you should or end up being infected with TDS and there's no return from there. Once you are infected with TDS, you end up in a scenario where you're a conservative on the outside but a full blown retarded radical leftist on the inside. Eventually, like everything and everyone, you will be exposed. I personally don't expect everyone to agree with everything I post or say. We're all INDIVIDUALS. God gave everyone of us a different brain, different experiences, etc. But we should NEVER take our eyes of the goal. The direction has already been set by President Trump. So you're either on our team or you're in the opposition. There's no grey area here. This is evil vs good. I'm on the side of good and this is the hill I am prepared to die on.
