The decisions of August 5, August 7, and March 2 are clear… what are you waiting for? I call on His Excellency President General Joseph Aoun and the Council of Ministers to immediately implement these decisions, place all weapons under the authority of the state, and declare a state of emergency. If that proves impossible, then to invoke Paragraph 14 of UN Resolution 1701, request military support from Lebanon’s allies, and work toward dismantling Hezbollah in all its components, in order to stop the bloodshed in Lebanon and demand Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon. Lebanon is not a battlefield… Lebanon is a nation whose people deserve to live in safety and lasting peace.
