As part of efforts to co-create sustainable solutions for youth development, @cmghana , alongside @UNICEFGhana and partners, also convened a multi-stakeholder consultation in Bibiani, within the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly, between 15th and 17th April 2026. The engagement brought together the District Assembly, private sector representatives, cooperatives, religious leaders, and young people to collectively explore better opportunities for youth against child labour and its impact in their communities. Through focused group discussions, stakeholders contributed valuable perspectives on how the Yoma Ghana platform can serve as a practical tool for skills development, learning access, and youth empowerment. Last week, @cmghana, in collaboration with @UNICEFGhana and partners, engaged key stakeholders in Goaso, Asunafo North district, as part of ongoing consultations to shape the Yoma Ghana and strengthen its role in empowering young people and contributing to the elimination of child labour. The engagement brought together representatives from the District Assembly, private sector actors, cooperatives, religious leaders, and young people. Together, they created space for open dialogue on youth skilling to empower young people against child labour and wider impacts of child labour in the district. Stakeholders also shared practical insights and expectations on how the platform can equip young people with relevant digital skills and improved access to opportunities. Within the Upper West and Northern regions, our volunteers are leading civic conversations, educating young people on governance processes, and creating spaces for dialogue between youth and local decision-makers.
