@Nithin0dha Very practical approach for many. Backtesting with edge cases & refining the system alongside production doesn't work? It takes a lot of clarity though. Supply chain owner ship can be one reason for doing so.. Owning the innovation, thereby removing limitations is the other.

One of the lesser-known things about stock brokers is that most brokers don't actually own their entire tech stack. There's usually a third-party vendor providing the core order management system (OMS) and risk management system (RMS). Think of OMS/RMS as being similar to the core banking systems that Infosys or Oracle provides for banks. The OMS/RMS is basically the heart of a broking operation. If this breaks, trading stops. Vendors in our business include Omennest, Kambala, 63 Moons, Rupeeseed, etc. OmneNest, which we use has about a 70 market share. Many brokers are trying to build this tech in-house. We've been working on it for almost four years now. It's extremely hard and complex. More importantly, it involves taking serious risks with your business during the transition. You're migrating live client positions while ensuring nothing breaks. One mistake and you could have trades going wrong, margin calculations failing, or clients unable to exit positions. Constant regulatory changes make this even harder because they need to be incorporated into the system, and each change is a potential breaking point. I think it's much easier for a broker starting from scratch to build their own OMS/RMS than for one that already has established size and scale. When you have lakhs of clients trading daily, you're essentially rebuilding the plane while flying it. Also, it's hard to make tough decisions about important things like this when the incentives aren't aligned. For almost every business using vendors, the debate is: Why bother with the time, effort, and risk to business continuity when no one really cares if you're running the complete tech stack or not? Clients don't ask. And vendor costs haven't caught up with the phenomenal growth in brokers over the last five years either, so the immediate financial case isn't obvious.

This is a map of black soil — the most valuable agricultural land in Europe. As you can see, most of it lies in Ukraine. Because of this, Ukraine’s territory was one of the most densely populated areas in the pre-industrial era. At a time when food couldn’t be transported across half the globe, people could survive and flourish only where it grew well. Six thousand years ago, there were settlements of up to 10,000 people on Ukrainian lands. These communities were farmers; they produced linen clothing and developed pottery-kiln technologies unmatched anywhere else in the world for the next two millennia. They left no written language, but they created practical models out of clay — miniature houses showing tools, people, and daily life. And remember: this was the era when the first cities were emerging in Mesopotamia, long before the pyramids were built. Herodotus writes that a Scythian king once asked each subject to bring an arrow so he could count the population — and received seven million. Whether that number is precise or not, it tells us that the region was heavily populated. Alexander the Great sent his general Zopyrion to conquer Scythia; the entire army vanished, along with Zopyrion himself. Alexander was wise enough not to try again — perhaps that’s why he never lost another battle. Ukraine never experienced natural famines. That’s why Ukrainians are so individualistic: if you can grow your own food, you don’t need a “strong leader” to survive. In russia, it was different — harsh, swampy lands forced communities to share scarce food and follow a leader as if he were a god. But we did experience famines — all artificially created by Moscow. In 1933, millions of Ukrainians were deliberately starved when their food was seized. Every Ukrainian family carries a horror story from that time. Today, Ukraine can feed the entire EU and already feeds millions in North Africa and Asia. If russia succeeds in taking over, it could trigger a global crisis simply by cutting off these supplies. Hungry and desperate people will be forced to flee, with Europe becoming their last hope. Are you ready for that? If not — help Ukraine. Author: Volodymyr Kukharenko

In the 1600s, India under the Mughal Empire boasted fertile alluvial soils in the Indo-Gangetic plains, supporting advanced agriculture with crops like rice, wheat, and cotton. Population estimates range from 100-150 million, making it densely populated. The economy was among the world's largest (about 25% of global GDP), driven by farming, textiles, and trade, with per capita income over 60% of Britain's level.

The Govt of India does not ask our approval for its oil policy or import duties, and so @shashitharoor and the GOI shouldn't be expecting us to champion their sovereign policy decisions with the U.S. government. They can hire lobbyists for that. Because we care about the world's oldest and largest democracies getting along, from the U.S.-India Civil Nuclear Agreement to calling out Pakistan sponsored terror in Kashmir to blocking bills that would condemn India on Kashmir while ignoring the right for Kashmiri Hindus to reclaim their homes, to pushing to protect human rights in the Indian subcontinent, to educating about separatist subversive lawbreakers in the U.S., we punch way above our weight. And because they know we are powerful, white nationalists, anti-Hindu academics, Khalistanis, leftist Indian writers at Al Jazeera, the Nation and others endanger us almost weekly with ludicrous accusations asking the FBI to investigate us as foreign agents or deport us and worse...yet we do what we do out of deep conviction, @ShashiTharoor. Maybe walk in our shoes before you criticize us.

"IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR MOTHERLAND THEN YOU ALSO HAVE TO FIGHT FOR IT". 12 hours after Tharoor's plea Indian Americans still inert. Are powerful C-Suite Indo-Americans so "naturalised" that they have whitewashed their Indianess?

@Mobily1100 Why would the line be cancelled? I was not told the reason when I asked them. I was asked to pay 300 SR to activate it again. Why is this about money, if SPL address is updated? Even if it is cancelled, there should be a way to re-activate it without asking for money right?

#SaveHCU WHY IS KANCHE GACHIBOWLI PRECIOUS?? 🤍🤍🤍 The insanely stupid arguments to cover up the government’s even more stupid act of demolition is beyond sick! Yesterday, I gave out a list of flora and fauna that made Kanche Gachibowli their home for decades The stupid arguments ranged from - - It is NOT a forest just waste land - There are NO lions or deers only foxes - They are NOT students - There are NO animals - They are all AI generated images - It is a toolkit 🤷🏽‍♀️ Here is a video created with all the photos clicked on the campus over years by the students Some of these pictures were part of the official Hyderabad Central University calendar All it takes is a drive to the HCU or even common sense to read through detailed ecological reports given over the last two decades by various esteemed organizations. I am using the photographs to expose their fallacy, I hope the owners of the photographs will be okay with this Enjoy the beauty of Kanche Gachibowli, am afraid most of it was destroyed by mindless bulldozing 💔💔💔💔 I hope the honourable courts see this and stop this madness once and for all! #SaveHCUBioDiversity #SaveHCU #SaveHyderabadBioDiversity #Hyderabad #BulldozerSakaar

- Ola is a copy of Uber - Zomato is a copy of Yelp - PayTM is a copy of AliPay (China) Make in India is a failed campaign. And, is now practically "Assemble" in India. There is nothing wrong in copying good businesses & contextualizing it to the Indian market. Even China does that. But, making unnecessary noise; too much hype & marketing -- creates a wrong impression. And, makes people live in a la-la land.
Grok@grok

Yes, India has seen innovative startups like Paytm, Zomato, and Ola transform fintech, food delivery, and ride-hailing since 2015, reshaping its business ecosystem. MSMEs, especially in IT and manufacturing, drive ~46% of exports by 2025, boosting global profits. India excels in remittances ($125B in 2025) and supports startups via Startup India, fostering growth and jobs.
