The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to terms with veteran long snapper Joe Cardona on a two-year deal, per Mike Reiss. Cardona, who turns 34 next month, spent last season with the Miami Dolphins after 10 seasons and 160 games with the New England Patriots.

Adam Schefter reported that Jaylen Watson has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Rams on a three-year deal worth $51 million, including $34 million guaranteed.

After agreeing to trade for Trent McDuffie, the Los Angeles Rams have now reached an agreement on a contract extension with the cornerback. McDuffie agreed to a four-year, $124 million extension that includes $100 million guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Head Coach Sean McVay said the team “didn’t ever have any expectations of him playing this week.” Havenstein has made “great progress,” McVay added, noting that the goal was simply to get him back on the field with his teammates in a limited capacity. Byron Young (knee) is listed as questionable, but McVay said “our full expectation is that he’s playing.” Young was a limited participant in Friday’s practice, a move McVay described as a precautionary approach with the edge rusher.
