@tedlieu @Leahgreenb If the Democrats are also focused on appeasing Republicans, who the hell is representing the rest of the country? How do you intend to win elections if you never fight for your base?

@Leahgreenb I would also recommend that we focus on grants to law enforcement, opioid prevention and veterans. Things that Trump voters and swing voters may particularly care about.

Everything is extremely chaotic but the best info we have so far suggests that Trump’s “stop funding” EO would cover: Medicaid ESSA funds IDEA Snap School meals WIC Head start grants Child care block grants Pell grants Student loans Higher Ed grants Housing vouchers CTE 1/

I don't post here much anymore, but I have a family member with terminal cancer who relies on Medicaid to stay alive. This is a constitutional crisis that will kill people. Even if this doesn't affect you directly, please call your representatives.
