@lazaruscontract if jason listened to bruce, instead of impulsively trying to save his mother by himself, he never would’ve died. simple as that saying jason’s impulsiveness got him killed is objectively not a wrong thing to say.

hamilton, alonso, verstappen are all races who basically dedicated their entire lives to their craft, are upset but oh no they have no right because theyre "privilaged to be here" these guys LOVE f1, they want to see it in a good shape and have a right to voice concerns

lando norris is the most annoying f1 driver in f1 history. it's not even close.

this entire russell and norris point is that an f1 driver, who is very passionate about the sport they race in and wants to see it succeed, cannot complain cuz they get paid like wow maybe some of these guys are actually passionate guys.. is that a foreign concept

Some of the greatest F1 drivers ever with a combined 13 championships and 208 wins talking about the issues with the new regulations - they’re still not the only ones btw - but hey, Lando Norris (1 wdc & 11 wins) has fun so maybe they should just all retire… solid 👍🤐

Question for the people that think this Mercedes engine situation isn't a cheat (based on public info): If the compression ratio is ALWAYS 18:1 but there is part of the engine or a device that convinces the test that the ratio is 16:1, would that change your mind?

This is the part everyone keeps skipping over… If the FIA changes the test, they are effectively changing the rule. And if they change the rule for compression ratio, then you’re no longer talking about enforcement, you’re talking about rehomologation. There is no spec sensor inside the combustion chamber. None. So the only way to enforce a dynamic or “hot” compression limit would be to mandate new instrumentation. That means redesigning the PU architecture, not tweaking software. That impacts every manufacturer, not just one team. Even a so-called “static hot test” isn’t clean. The regulations don’t define temperature, load, duration, or thermal state. Different manufacturers use different alloys, coatings, and construction methods that expand differently under heat. Without preset conditions, you’re not enforcing a rule, you’re inventing one on the fly. That’s why the current framework does what it does: geometric parameter, defined test, homologated result. You can’t just bolt on a new interpretation without breaking the freeze. Realistically, there’s no clean resolution inside the current homologation cycle. If anything changes, it’s 2027 or later, not by reinterpretation, but by redesign.

Quand la @ScuderiaFerrari jouait avec le débimètre en 2019, c'était de la triche par contre si @MercedesAMGF1 joue en 2026 avec la compression c'est du génie. Pour ma part je vois deux écuries qui ont su utiliser les zones grises d'un règlement. #F1

but ferrari— it’s funny how y’all think the issue is merc exploiting a loophole. we’re actually just calling out the fia’s inconsistency with how they treat teams when they do so. ferrari used a grey area, the rules were clarified & ferrari faced the consequences. same situation
