@rrhoover They are very complacent and tend to agree and accept your ideas as the correct approach. Whenever you change your mind they agree with the next thing. To have an original idea you need to be able to challenge the current state and propose a different path to test.

I don’t understand the argument that LLMs can’t come up with original ideas. “It’s just trained on existing data, predicting the next token.” How is that different than human ideation? We’re also pattern-matching machines, influenced by our life experience.

לאמן מודלים מאפס זה מאד קשה אבל לאמן מודלים באמצעות מודלים קיימים זה הרבה יותר קל. גם לאנתרופיק ו-OpenAI יש פרקים בעייתים בהיסטוריה בשמירה על זכויות יוצרים (נתבעו ושילמו מיליארדים) אבל זו אחת הסיבות מאחורי היכולת של המעבדות הסיניות להציע מחירים נמוכים בהרבה.

i'm battling a serious dilemma, help my daughter will be 3 yrs old in september. she doesn't use screens at all in any way shape or form. she is completely fine without them. she has a super happy childhood and a WILD imagination. loves playing outside, loves playing on her own, loves books (both when we read to her and she likes flipping them on her own) her vocabulary is super developed and we have conversations about things. my dilemma is about screens tho computers and tv were my childhood. even tho it was wrong, unlimited, and we saw things that were not appropriate for our age. i'm dying to show her cartoons, concerts, music videos, making music, creating art, sports, nature documentaries and computer games. i'm like, if she doesn't see this on a screen where tf will she see MOST things? we take her to museums, theatre plays, she traveled like 11 countries so far, she plays with kids etc etc but when we were kids we learned MOST things (including learning languages) from the tv being on 24/7 (which we don't do now obviosuly) i am very aware of what modern cartoons/movies can do, so i would def start oldschool and very slow and very limited. i'm planning to get old crt tv with vhs/dvd and have a very small collection on rotation, instead of sitting in front of a 138" screen to watch pokemon in HDR lol also we would start with super oldschool retrto nintendo games i just knows screens+vr+ar+ai (whatever tf this combo gonna look like) will be literally her entire life, so i'm really not sure if it's better to: 1. let her enjoy a screenless childhood as long as possible 2. slowly start preparing her and showing her how computers can be used as creative tools, and see how her creativity just to be clear again, i'm not talking about giving her her own device, that's not even crossing my mind. i'm talking about supervised time using a device TOGETHER as an educational/entertainment tool

יש את הרגע הזה, שבו אתה מכין לראשונה פסטו ביתי, מבין כמה שזה קל וכמה שזה הרבה יותר טעים מכל מוצר שתקנה בסופר - ומשם אין דרך חזרה. האם יש עוד מאכלים כאלו שכל כך פשוט ברמת הדקות להכין בבית, ויוצאים מוצלחים משמעותית מהקנוי?

@seraleev I went from mouse to trackpad and back to mouse. The wrist position can be uncomfortable on a track pad. When you do Figma and similar tools the trackpad wins every time.

יש לי קלוד במנוי של ה-20$. עובד איתו מאתמול בלילה נון סטופ על בניית מנוע שכר לעובדים. במקום שכל חודש אשב 3 שעות לסדר ולארגן מחדש בין כמה אקסלים אז בונה איזה מנוע שרק מעביר אליו את הגולמי והוא מייצא לי כל מה שצריך. לפני 20 דקות מדווח שנגמר לי הלימיט להיום. קונה עוד 50$. עובר 7 דקות ושתי שאלות הוא שוב אומר לי שהגעתי ל-90%. אני מנצל את ה-10% הנתרים להבין ממנו למה זה ככה?| אם יותר מהכפלתי את הסכום הרגיל איך זה שזה נגמר לי שוב אחרי 7 דקות. הוא מסביר לי שהצ'אט עמוס בקבצים ובלה בלה וממליץ ללכת לצ'אט חדש ואפילו נותן תקציר לצ'אט החדש. והופ הגענו ל-100% ניצול. קונה עוד 50$ פותח צ'אט חדש - שם לו את התקציר ומעלה לו את הקבצים כפי שביקש. חושב וחושב, כותב לעצמו וכותב לעצמו. עובר 5 דקות והופ נגמרו גם ה50$ האלו. קלוד אתה יותר גרוע מהעו"ד שרצה להשכיר דירה לאחיינית שלי. טפי המלצות להבא?

@LittleMoiz יותר מדי קונטסט. ככל שאתה מוסיף יותר מידע דרך הקבצים , הוא הולך לקרוא את הקבצים שוב שוב כולל ההיסטוריה של השיחה כדי לענות על השאלה הבאה. צריך לצמצם את בקונטקסט איכשהו. בצ'אט חדש צריך לארגן מחדש את המידע שזמין לסוכן, כדי שיהיה פחות מידע לקרוא , מתומצת, ושיהיה מבנה במידע.

הפלקס הכי מוצדק שעשיתי: בדיוק חזרנו הבוקר מאמסטרדם. נהג אובר מוסלמי הוריד אותנו עם הילדים מהרכב במרחק גדול מהיעד, בשקר כלשהו, ואז התחיל לנבל את הפה על ישראלים ושאני מטנף לו את הטסלה (כהתפארות, כאילו אני פלאח). אמרתי לו ״מחר אתה מפוטר מאובר״, ושלחתי סמס לטרוויס קלאניק. Done.

יש סדרת מערכונים ישנה בשם בריטניה הקטנה, בטח רובכם לא מכירים אבל אני אוהב רפרנסים של זקנים. בכל מקרה, יש שם מערכון קבוע של איזו פקידה שבאים אליה ולא משנה מה קורה היא אומרת ״המחשב אומר לא״ וזהו. אני הייתי מתגלגל מצחוק כי זה כל כך אופייני לישראל. ״אי אפשר כי המחשב״. כוח עליון. >>
