I don’t want John Fetterman to become a Republican. I want more Democrats LIKE John Fetterman. There used to be plenty of Democrats who were pro-worker, patriotic, moderate, and willing to challenge their own side. The parties had more overlap back then. If Fetterman switched parties tomorrow, the second he disagreed with Republicans, people would call him “the problem with the GOP.” We don’t need fewer independent thinkers. We need more of them in BOTH parties.

Help me figure this out. Let's say this is a hail storm. On one hand, I'd hate to be driving through it. But would I stop in the middle of the road under a bridge? I don't think I would.
