@Antithess the action that led the police to go to their house was taken the previous day, i.e. the day when most likely they did not know the family was immigrants. calling to check if it was served is not calling the police on them. the wheels on that one were already moving.

@Antithess they called the pd to see if the restraining order had been served, not called the police to arrest them. the police have to manually hand serve restraining orders.
