This man is devoid of reality. Yes, there is no explicit law to say we must interpret foreign languages. HOWEVER, as stated in your own reference, "Local authorities must comply with the duties set out in the Equalities Act 2010, including the duty not to discriminate and the public sector equality duty." So if we had a 'No English, No Service' policy, we would be open to lawsuits costing thousands to the local council taxpayer, which we would most likely lose. We campaigned on this as a wider issue. We know that Reform councils are spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on foreign language translation. Reform people have got very upset with me pointing that out... So, let's take a look at the evidence. This below is what Reform posted on the 25th of March 2025 about Lincolnshire County Council. "£200,000 wasted on translation, interpretation and language services last year alone." If they thought they couldn't change it, why campaign on that point? They then won that council. Full control. What did they do? Upped the spend on foreign language translation services - splurging thousands and thousands more on translation for foreign languages. According to our investigation, they spent £272,245 in their first year in charge. Up from £244,947 the year before. Reform have claimed it's the law to provide foreign language translation services. Two points. If that's the case, why were they pushing this line before the election? Secondly, and more importantly. They're wrong. A Written Ministerial Statement by the former Communities Secretary stated the following... "Of course, local authorities must comply with the duties set out in the Equalities Act 2010, including the duty not to discriminate and the public sector equality duty. But this is not a legal duty to translate documents into foreign languages." Our FOI investigations have shown that across Reform councils they're spending VAST amounts of money on translation into Arabic, Kurdish and whatever else. We've got the stats from right across their councils. It is a scandalous waste. They are all talk. When it comes to delivering, they have made things worse - wasting thousands on Arabic translation costs. A total betrayal. Let me be clear about Restore Britain's position. We would scrap ALL foreign language translation/interpretation in the public sector. You live in England, you speak English. End of story. There is finally a political party willing to do what needs to be done. Restore Britain.

Two Women Targeted In Horrifying Sex Attacks Just Days Apart, Police Release Images Of Suspects. Police are hunting two men over separate sexual assaults on women in Manchester and Colchester in a shocking double appeal that has raised fresh fears for public safety. The first incident happened in broad daylight inside a popular TK Maxx store, while the second took place at night on a quiet residential pathway, both leaving victims terrified and officers desperate for information. In the Manchester case, Greater Manchester Police say a lone woman was followed through the aisles of the TK Maxx at Manchester Fort in Cheetham Hill at around 4:33pm on Saturday, May 9. A man entered the store shortly before her and began tailing her closely as she made her way to the homeware section, allegedly engaging in sexually inappropriate behaviour before carrying out a sexual assault.When the woman called out for security, the suspect fled the store immediately. Officers are now making a plea for the victim herself to come forward, while also urging anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images to contact them. They believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries. He is described as a black male wearing a black headscarf, headphones, a light brown jacket with a black check pattern, light blue jeans and black trainers. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 1420 of 09/05/2026. Just five days earlier, on Monday, May 4, a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in the Greenstead area of Colchester, Essex. Essex Police say the attack happened at about 11pm on a footpath between The Chase and Stanley Wooster Way. She was sexually assaulted before the suspect made off. Detectives have released clear CCTV footage of a man they urgently want to speak to. He is described as a black male with short black hair, wearing a beige or brown plaid long-sleeve shirt and dark trousers at the time. Information can be submitted via the Major Incident Public Portal, reference 4201020126R94-PO1 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The force is also appealing for a taxi driver who may have dropped the victim near Hawthorn Avenue that evening, and for any local CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the Greenstead estate between 7pm and 11:30pm. Essex Police have confirmed the Colchester victim is being supported by specialist officers. Greater Manchester Police continue to appeal for the Manchester victim to come forward so she can receive support. Police say every possible line of enquiry is being followed. Women are being urged to remain vigilant when out alone, particularly in quieter locations after dark. A Pakistani Rapist who loitered outside a gym before kidnapping a lone woman at knifepoint has been jailed. Arselaan Nawaz, 17, had cycled to the car park in Oldham at around 6.30am and waited until the woman arrived in her car. He was seen on CCTV ‘loitering’ around the area as she parked further away from the entrance to the gym. Due to the time of day she was alone as she got out of the car. Nawaz approached her and told her to hand over the keys to her car whilst brandishing a knife, Minshull Street Crown Court heard. He then ordered her into the backseat as she pleaded with him to let her go. He told her he would ‘kill her’ if she shouted or tried to run. He drove them to an industrial estate before getting into the back seat of the car where he ‘kissed’ her. Summarising the case, the presiding judge said Nawaz left the woman with a bruise to her neck before ordering her to remove her clothes and putting on a condom. Nawaz then raped the woman as she wept, telling her to “shut up and stop crying”. After the attack he demanded her mobile phone, and used her sock to clean the interior of the car. He then ‘arrogantly’ kissed her before leaving with her phone. He was later arrested, and found to have put his SIM card into her phone. 2024 The 17-year-old was convicted of rape and possession of a knife following a trial.
