Trump wrote an incredibly long post, in which he DEMANDED that the Gulf countries join the Abraham Accords. Essentially - to make peace with Israel. And all this is in the context of a peace deal with Iran. This primarily concerns Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan. Moreover, Trump added that if these countries are not ready to join the Agreement (that is, to make peace with Israel), then they should not interfere in the affairs of the US and Iran, because they will not be trusted. Trump is clearly not succeeding in getting what he wanted from Iran - the abandonment of nuclear research, the transfer of nuclear raw materials, and the renunciation of rights to the Strait of Hormuz. And he is trying to find completely different conditions for his "victory" on the fly. In the form of reconciling the Arab East with Israel. Which, I think, will not happen. Trump’s demand would require the mediating countries to recognize Israel and normalize relations as a condition of ending the Iran war — a significant ask given that Saudi Arabia has publicly conditioned any normalization on a credible and irreversible path to Palestinian statehood, a position shared in various forms by Turkey, Egypt, and others on the list. 🔹The demand comes as the U.S. has allowed Israel to continue the daily killing of Palestinians in Gaza for more than seven months since the October 2025 Trump-brokered ceasefire, with over 900 Palestinians killed since the agreement was approved by Israel.
