The 45% week-to-week drop in the demo rating was the biggest in show history. The show faced tough competition from the NBA and NHL playoffs. The NBA playoffs on NBC topped the night in the 18-49 demo on broadcast, while the NHL playoffs on ESPN topped the night in the 18-49 demo on cable.
