@solowinx Riven has literally called out the Winx when they experienced having to solve problems without magic like they, the Specialists, regularly must do.

@solowinx While every human in the Magic Universe may have a physiological difference than terrestrial humans due to their regular exposure to magic, making them magic-adjacent, it is categorically untrue that they are all magical and just refuse to use their magic much.

Why do so many people randomly believe Roxy is a "half fairy"? 😭😭
The concept of a "half fairy" is nonexistent in Winx Club.
If Roxy's a half fairy, all the Winx would be half fairies because they all have at least one non-magical parent from what we've seen.

@RandomSisco Season 3 was such a production mess, 4kids getting an early version where they still hadn’t animated musa’s magic winx with long hair so they stuck some pngs onto the old transformation sequence and blooms enchantix being partially spoiled during tecna’s sacrifice send me😭😭😭

@RandomSisco So, going back to Roxy, it’s even possible for her to evolve beyond her current fairy form because she’s an exception. She was born as real fairy since her mother is also a fairy.

@RandomSisco honestly I just always saw all the winx characters as magical beings separately from whether they are human or not 😭 but i get why ppl are confused by roxy's case, that girl always bring problems to this fandom

@n0vaseye The only thing I can definitively recall is that we have seen Marion, Luna and Alyssa use magic.
For the rest of the magical moms, it's sort of just implied and accepted that they're fairies, but the idea of alternatives intrigues me.

@WingsofThe THAT I do agree with. We've all sort of accept that all the moms are fairies and the dads are humans, but what if Electronio was a wizard and Magnethia was a human? What if Luna was a witch? What if Rhodos could perform low-level magic like Helia and Alyssa had no magic? 🤔

@RandomSisco and the Winx fathers may also have powers and could also be fairies if they want to. And tell me if Im wrong but it is not even known if all Winx mothers are fairies right?? Only Marion and Luna were confirmed as fairies I think (maybe Niobe too idk)

@RandomSisco True! Afterall, we don’t see actual fairy forms for most of their moms either so it’s not out of the question for them to be something besides being a fairy (even though it’s most likely that they are).

@RandomSisco Yeah I see what you mean because according to the lore, every being and creature is separated into the magical beings and non-magical beings categories meaning that even if a person or creature isn’t human from an Earth human perspective, they’re still not magical.

@RandomSisco This is true! Not every being in the Magic Dimension is magical so in hindsight, there’s little to no difference between Klaus and the other fathers (although it would’ve be interesting if some were fairies, wizards, warlocks, etc.)

@n0vaseye I definitely respect the concept that humans are separate from magical beings in the lore of Winx Club, it just happens to be a non-factor when it comes to a fairy's identify.
All the fairies seem to have human dads, that has never made any of them "half" fairies.

@RandomSisco i don't get this discussion at all bc fairy is not even a race? 😭 everyone can be a fairy, or even change to be a witch or maybe even something else. Imo they're all humans, just with magic

@Magical_Pudding Humans can only gain magic by outside magical sources, as seen with Mitzi and friends who got magic via the Fairy Hunter, or the Calavera locals who got magic via Bloom.

3. No, if a commoner randomly decided they wanted to become a fairy, I don't think that'd happend, neither for Sky (a Magic Dimension human) nor Mike (a terrestrial human).

@WingsofThe Even if we agreed that Magical Dimension humans and terrestrial humans are conceptually different, we know in practice they are the same.
They're humanoid beings with no magic, so there's no real basis for Roxy to have a different Fairy identity.

@WingsofThe Fair, but for this concept to be plausible, one would have to come from the perspective that every individual in the Magic Dimension is magical, which isn't the case.
Unless we believe all the fathers of the Winx are also magical, there's no basis for Klaus to be the exception.

I remembered that it was briefly mentioned in S1 that there hasn’t been Earth fairies in years when Faragonda and Griselda were confused about how could Bloom be from Earth, but at that point, I think Earth was still viewed as separate from the Magic Dimension.
