on one hand I understand why people dont like it, the time consumption and having summers/inspirations not go your way ruins runs way more than the previous two scenarios imo, but at the same time I think there's a bit more of a feeling of being in control due to items, makes it feel more like a rouguelike which is why i prob enjoy it more
