@howertonjosh Not that I feel like you’ll respond, but how does this claim stand up to the fact that Trumps administration deleted studies showing that the far right commits far more violence than the left? At this point, it feels like you’re just committed to your view

Political violence is a feature, not a bug of progressivism. Because progressivism is built on top of a Critical Theory lens that sees the world through "Oppressed vs Oppressor" categories rather than a Christian Theology lens of "Right vs Wrong", it trains people to see opponents not as mistaken, but as evil oppressors. If you believe someone is mistaken, you try to persuade them (what @charliekirk11 did). If you believe someone is an evil oppressor ("literally Hitler!", "fascist", "existential threat to democracy", virtually everything and everyone is "racist"), you will feel a moral obligation to stop them. This is why there is radically disproportionate violence emerging on the Left.

@howertonjosh I think you’re putting too much stock in “building” a church and way less hope in the power of the gospel. You’re honestly blinded by your political bias man. The gospel can advance regardless of the type of church you’d prefer it be preached in.

Destroying secular progressivism and ensuring it never holds power again is... A) A tier-1 "love your neighbor" issue B) Mission-critical to the accomplishment of the Great Commission. Make a map of the most progressive states and then make a map of the states with the fewest churches... it's the same map. Everyone knows the hardest states to plant and scale churches in are the blue states. If you want to make building the church and the spread of the gospel 10x harder, it's easy: Let your state go blue. So, Christians should never let a state go blue.

This is a problem so deep, we cannot (simply) vote our way out of it. We will have to repent our way out of it. There are two choices before us: Christ or chaos.
