I had lunch the other day with former speaker and current Assemblyman John Hambrick. This is his first holiday without his beloved Nancy after 53 years of marriage. I am pleased to report he is doing well and looking forward to visiting his daughter for Christmas.

I agree too with u Steve. It was my bill in 2013 but failed. Was pleased to see Gov Sandavol pick it up as part of his education reform in 2015. Disappointed it was watered down this last session. We learn to ready by 3rd grade and read to learn beyond. So very important.
