@carlesdijous Thanks, @carlesdijous, for your tweet. I am one of the authors. This digital signature scheme would offer an alternative way for post-quantum cryptography, escpecially for those requiring small sizes in public key and signatures with outperforming speeds.

My research is available on @ResearchGate: researchgate.net/publication/36… This is a first possible quantum encryption inside quantum computer with Quantum Permutation Pad or QPP although it is a toy example. It demonstrates the possibility to unify quantum encryption.

@Quantropi We can not only leverage the uncertainty principle physically for quantum security such as in photonic QKD with physical qubits, but we can also benefit from the uncertainty principle mathematically with matrix representations such as Quantum Permutation Pad.

@michaeljredding @mikebechtel @shazrasul @Quantropi Thanks, Mike. Quantum threats are not science fiction, it is reality. Cryptographers did not pay too much attention on D-Wave quantum computers. Today D-Wave computers already have over 5000 qubits, working at annealing mode. Watch out, real threats may come first from annealers.

@mikebechtel @shazrasul @Quantropi While the "jury is out" as to when it will start to happen (Y2K Analogy: is it now May1995 or Dec 31, 1999??) the immediate threat is "Steal Now, Crack Later". Encrypted (by today's standards) Stealth Bomber plans stolen now will still have value years from now when cracked :(

Quantropi reported their quantum-inspired logic for quantum secure communications at IEEE QCE20 on Oct 14, by representing classical information from a finite field to Hilbert space or quantum computational basis, and making OTP be quantum permutation pad or QPP over internet.

Dr. Krysta Svore made a great speech at IEEE QCE20. The most important is that the quantum-inspired algorithms demonstrate significant roles in quantum computing. Quantropi will present another quantum-inspired logic for quantum security today at QCE20.

@ieeeypctx @Quantropi @IEEEQuantumWeek Quantropi presented that with randomly controlling a pair of conjugate phase shift gates, Bob and Alice at >100KM can achieve quantum public key distributions over today's coherent optical networks with a key rate of 56 Gbps based on simulations by McGill U research team.

@ieeeypctx @Quantropi @IEEEQuantumWeek Quantropi presented their new way for quantum public key distributions today at IEEE QCE20, instead to use single photon as information carrier, quantum harmonic oscillators or Glauber states are used as information carrier for RSA-type quantum public key distributions.
